Structural Engineer – Steel Structures – CDS

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be integrated into the structural design team and will be responsible for:

Designing and calculating steel structures for civil and industrial buildings
Creating calculation models and verifying structures for limit states (ULS/SLS)
Preparing execution details and the associated technical documentation
Detailing steel elements using Tekla Structures
Coordinating with architecture, MEP, and project management teams
Reviewing and approving technical documents prepared by team members
Providing technical assistance on site and solving technical issues arising during the execution phase

Job Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Completed higher education – Faculty of Civil Engineering, specializing in Civil, Industrial, and Agricultural Constructions (CCIA) or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in steel structural design
Advanced knowledge of Tekla Structures (detailing and modeling)
Solid knowledge of structural calculation – Eurocodes (EN 1993, EN 1998) and Romanian standards
Experience in seismic design and application of capacity-based design principles
Ability to read and interpret execution plans and steel connection details
Proven experience in coordinating projects from concept phase to execution details

Optional Requirements (Advantageous)

Experience with structural analysis software: ETABS, SAP2000, Robot Structural Analysis
BIM knowledge and experience in interdisciplinary coordination using BIM models
Experience on international projects or projects according to European standards
Intermediate to advanced English language skills
Experience in designing welded and pretensioned bolted connections
